Terms and Conditions

Matting

We will not demat for longer than 15 minutes in line with the Animal Welfare Act 2006. When matting occurs, it is often tight to the skin and painful for your dog. Severe mats can cause skin irritation and the after affects of removing a matted coat include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritation, and coat change.
If your dog’s coat has excessive matting please be aware that there will be an additional charge of £5-£10. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you consent to your dog being clipped short if it cannot be dematted quickly safely and kindly.

Cancellation
We understand that things change and are happy to reschedule your appointment with enough notice. Please give us as much notice as possible so that we can try to fill your missed appointment.
We require at least 48 hours notice for a cancellation. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will incur a 50% charge which must be paid before rebooking.
Health and Medical Conditions
Grooming can be a stressful experience for some dogs. It can also aggravate pre existing conditions.   Please make sure you tell us of any conditions your dog has prior to the groom.
As our grooms are carried out in your home, for the most part you or someone will be in the same house in case of emergency. On the occasion that you need to pop out or are not available, if an incident occurred that we deem to require further medical attention, you consent to us seeking veterinary treatment. We will attempt to contact you in any emergency however our main priority will be the health of your dog.
Behaviour

Owners are obliged to inform us of any potentially aggressive behaviours that may arise during the groom. We will try to adapt our grooming session to accommodate such behaviours however if we feel at any time that we or your dog are unsafe, we reserve the right to stop the groom with the full fee incurred.
Should your dog cause injury to us, you will be responsible for any financial loss incurred either as loss of working time or equipment damage.

Dogs that we will not groom

We reserve the right to refuse to groom. This includes large breeds that may be unsuitable for home grooming; aggressive dogs; banned breeds and pregnant bitches.

Photographs

Please let us know if you give permission for us to use photographs of your pet on social media and/or our website

Teeth Cleaning

We use the Emmi Pet Ultrasonic Toothbrush. This is a non invasive teeth cleaning service to help prevent the build up of plaque and tartar on the teeth, maintain oral hygiene and reduce bad breath. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are aware that we cannot be held responsible for the oral hygiene of your dog.
The Emmi Pet treatment is not a replacement for a canine dental performed at the vets. We will assess your dogs teeth to the best of our ability but we are not trained vets and therefore cannot provide a diagnosis regarding your dogs health.

WHY USE A MOBILE GROOMER?

We provide you with a full grooming service without you needing to leave the house. We often find that dogs are calmer in their own environment, protected from strange smells and surroundings.

WHERE DO YOU CARRY OUT THE GROOM?
We bring our equipment with us into your home, all we need from you is a space to set up our table near a plug socket, access to your bath or shower and a dog towel
